Call for Applications: Looking for young dedicated music entrepreneurs

Are you a young music professional working in the European music sector and you feel you could benefit from a training programme that could provide you the necessary tools, knowledge and networks to support its realization? Then this is for you!

This call for applications, in the framework of the project SuCarMuS (Sustainable Careers in the Music Sector), is addressed to young entrepreneurs in the field of music (producers, managers, promoters, labels, etc.), who would like to increase their understanding of the music sector processes and dynamics, gaining exposure to key role models and developing partnerships with peers for long-term networking and support.
Up to eight (8) scholarships will be available for successful applicants.
The support granted to the 8 selected fellows by the SuCarMuS project includes:
Free participation to all the workshops and events of the project;
International travel costs, accommodation (3-4 nights) and transportation for all 3 SuCarMuS events;
WOMEX 2019 registration fee;
Food & Beverage: During the two workshop sessions (Cyprus and Greece).
The selected fellows will have to pay once a participation fee of EUR 250.
Participants will be selected based on the following criteria:
be young in the field (in the first decade of their career);
having nationality of one of the following countries: Cyprus, Greece, Albania, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia;
proven knowledge and understanding of their local music sector landscape;
a suitable level of English;
teamwork skills;
having a professional project which can benefit from international skills and networks will be a plus.
